Faculty of Geoengineering, Mining and Geology (W6) at WUST opens virtual door wide
Are you interested in technical sciences but don't know which degree programme to choose? Choose the Faculty of Geoengineering, Mining and Geology at WUST April 20 2021.
Tuesday, April 20, will be dedicated to the following faculties: Electronics, Electrical Engineering, Mining, Geology, and Geoengineering, Environmental Engineering, and Microsystem Electronics and Photonics.
– This year, we’ve prepared virtual presentations and meetings - everything in one place and without you leaving your home – announces Anetta Stypułkowska from Admissions Department. – During our online event, you’ll be able to find out everything about the available degree programmes, chat with academic staff from all faculties, meet graduates and listen to their stories, and obtain information about scholarships and halls of residence – adds Anetta Stypułkowska.
English and Polish speaking candidates for full-time studies can visit a booth prepared for them by the International Relations Office. Throughout the week, they will learn about the extensive studies offer and will be instructed by the admissions officers about the steps they need to take to become students of WUST. Possibilities of international exchange within Erasmus+ and exchange programme will also be explained, in order to give the prospective students full information about the options they have to tailor their study experience to their needs.
To show the candidates different career paths they can embark upon after graduating WUST, an inspiring debate between a Faculty representative, a CEO and one of the students will take place on Wednesday. On Thursday, there will be also first seminar prepared for the recruitment agents who wish to cooperate with WUST’s IRO. While the presentation on preparatory ENglish and Polish language courses as well as on Polish culture will take place on Friday to convince the undecided to study in our beautiful country.
- Our team will be participating in the Online Open Days for the first time. We’re sorry that we can’t meet the candidates in person because of the pandemic, but we’re making use of all the tools at our disposal to make their experience as engaging as possible – says Anna Maria Rogalska from the International Relations Office.
