The new international second degree program TIMREX at the
Faculty of Geoengineering, Mining and Geology (W6) of Wroclaw University of Science and Technology, Wroclaw, Poland

Dear Candidates we are creating a new international second degree program TIMREX.

TIMREX will create a Master's Programme on Mineral Exploration, to create T-shaped professionals with the support of mentoring activities, structured mobility, innovative exploration technologies, and a strong field-based training.

Within the framework of the EIT Raw Materials TIMREX project, our Department, together with partner universities: University of Miskolc (Hungary), University of Zagreb (Croatia) and Lulea University of Technology (Sweden), as well as industrial partners, is creating a new second degree program "MINERAL RESOURCES EXPLORATION". An application for the EIT Label quality certificate for the studies is being prepared.

The first intake for the new studies will be held

• in September 2022 - for foreign students
• in February 2023 for Polish students.
