Please be advised that as of April 27, 2026, due to an amendment to the Act on Foreigners, a new and exclusive method for submitting applications for a temporary residence permit has been introduced – via the nationwide MOS 2.0 system.

Applications submitted by any other means (in person at the Office or sent via mail) will be left without consideration.

In the case of applying for a temporary residence permit for the purpose of education (studies), the foreigner is required to attach the so-called Annex No. 5 to the application in the MOS system, which replaces the previous certificate obtained from the university.

Procedure for Obtaining Annex No. 5:

• The international student completes the form in the MOS system and provides the university's email address:

  For students who began their studies from October 1, 2025: prodziekan.dydaktykaw6@pwr.edu.pl

  For students who began their studies before October 1, 2025: admission@pwr.edu.pl

• Once the student fills in the required data, Annex No. 5 is automatically forwarded to the university.

• An authorized university employee completes the document and signs it with a qualified electronic signature.

• The signed document is sent back to the student via the MOS system.

• The student attaches Annex No. 5 to their application through the MOS 2.0 system.
