GIS Research Student Society Project Awarded FAST 2026 Funding

We are pleased to announce that the project submitted by the GIS Research Student Society, operating within the Faculty of Geoengineering, Mining and Geology at Wrocław University of Science and Technology, has been awarded funding under the Student Activity Fund (FAST) for 2026.

The proposal ranked 9th among 89 submitted projects. Funding was granted to only 22 initiatives, making this achievement a distinguished recognition and a confirmation of the high substantive and organizational standards demonstrated by the students of our Faculty.

The FAST programme supports the scientific, research, and organizational activities of the student community, enabling the implementation of ambitious projects that foster the development of competencies and strengthen the University’s research potential.

We extend our sincere congratulations to the members of the GIS Research Student Society and to the project’s academic supervisors. We also express our appreciation to all other laureates of the FAST 2026 programme.
